As a working professional and a family person, juggling work, academics and family is not a walk in the park. For me, considering the hefty fees I paid for my postgrad, my conscience was clear that if I get someone to help me complete the course successfully, then I have made a strategic decision.
I don’t deny it may to some extent be cheating. But I do not see the reason then why we have other market niches for softwares such as https://turnitin.com/ and https://www.grammarly.com/ . If you think about it, for turnitin, its like this guys need the cheating to be there so that they can have value. Grammarly cheats because it shows you how to write. So for me, my choice of writing help should not be considered really cheating provided it is sufficiently concealed. Honestly, I dont know if its only me but I think cheating goes on in countless of different ways in our life – lets not draw the line at academic cheating only…the world is a way bigger mess.
Quite thoughtful, I have never thought of it from such perspective. Also agreeing with @Pavan… Unis are charging hefty fees, so protecting an investment is not exactly the worst business strategy — in fact, it is atop of business strategies. (My thinking). I have benefitted from such a company and can thus never derogate them
